Bold Wedding Invites
A new trend that seems to be popping up more and more in weddings is the bold wedding invites. This can be done with bold colors, graphics, or even wording. I’m loving this new trend so much that I’m sharing 15 new designs all with the bold wedding in mind.
Whether you’re looking for fun colors, crazy geometric shapes, or just off-beat wording, you’re sure to find something below. Plus, you can download free bridal shower games at the bottom of the post. Or join The Printables Club for 100s of different bridal shower games.
The first thing I think of when I think of bold weddings is dark colors. I love seeing maroon, black, purple, and navy being used at weddings. I had dark purple at my spring wedding and loved it. It’s not just for winter anymore!
This watercolor invite was designed with the beach wedding in mind. I actually love the thought of it with a nautical event of any kind, it just works.
Next, for a royal affair, I designed this navy invite with floral accents. Really, navy works with pretty much any color.
Stripes in Any Color
This next design is a personal favorite of mine. Stripes are so fun and can be done in any color
Finally, you can’t have bold colors without black and white (with a teeny bit of golf). It’s always super classy no matter what you do.
Another bold look I’m seeing a lot of is bold graphics. Whether it’s shapes or flowers, the bigger the better it seems.
First up, this fun shaped invite is definitely one that your guests will remember. You can find both the fun-shaped design as well as the basic rectangle.
If shapes aren’t your thing, maybe flowers are! These bold floral designs are perfect for the feminine touch.
Finally, the last way you can be bold is with your text. You can either use bold font and large names and dates or be bold with your wording and layout.
First, use a fun font for the names of the couple to be and make that the majority of the page. Then, the remainder of the wording is smaller toward the bottom of the invite.
