Wedding Save the Date Trends come and go but it seems like there’s a few recently that are here to stay and I truly think you should steal them for your own wedding. Today I’m sharing several of my favorite wedding trends.
I’m also giving away a free save the date template. It’s an SVG file you can download and edit in illustrator. Head over to the Journey Junkies page now or sign up here, if you’re not a member.
Wedding Save the Date Trends
Greenery
This first idea is one that can work for any wedding colors. If you like to keep things simple, then these greenery wedding save the dates may be just what you need.
Monograms
One idea I keep seeing over and over is the monogram. This can be added to pretty much any style, color, or design you might want. Keep it simple or go all out.
Location Themed
Next up is an idea I personally love. Base your save the dates on where your wedding is going to take place. I love the “travel” feel to these. The state shaped save the dates are a new favorite of mine and they can be cards or magnets. I’m also sharing a beach-themed one and a desert-themed save the date.
Script Font
There’s something truly great about script font. It can look elegant, casual, fancy, or simple.
Bold Colors
Another trend I keep seeing is bold colors. Bold blues, purples, etc. I love using watercolor with bold colors and the design below is no different.
Your Photo
Finally, photo save the dates never really seem to go out of style and for good reason. Your guests will definitely know who it’s from and the photos make a great keepsake. These below are designed to really focus on your personal photo.
