There are thousands of valentines ideas for a love themed birthday party out there but so many of them are for kids only. Just because you grow up, doesn’t mean you have to stop celebrating your birthday!
Today I’m sharing 24 different themes for a valentine or love themed birthday party and I’ve got something for every age. So whether you’re turning 1 or 91, celebrate with these invites below. You can also download free graphics on the Journey Junkies page to create your own designs. If you’re not a member, sign up here.
For the Little Ones
To begin, we can’t forget the little ones even if we’re talking about all ages. These designs are made with the 1st, 2nd, and so on birthdays for little kids. The first birthday is too fun because it’s when you get to make all the decisions on decorations and activities. Their too young to have an opinion so make it about you too. Show them some love with these invites.
1. Love Bug
First up for the little ones is this cute love bug invite. Perfect for celebrating in the spring as well.
You know those little candy hearts that you either love or hate; I think they’re gross but we can’t celebrate valentines without them it seems. This invite was designed with those in mind. Celebrate your little sweetheart this February.
The next design is definitely typical but I can’t design valentines themed invites without an actual valentine design.
Another design that’s perfect for the little ones is this invite designed specifically for the one-year-old. Celebrate your year of kisses and hugs with this design.
Finally, the last design for the little ones is an invite for the two-year-old. Designed with the well-known poem, it’s perfect for the love-themed party.
For the Older Crowd
As I said above, this post is not just for kid’s birthday parties. these next three designs are for the older crowd. They’re perfect for the valentine party for adults.
First for the older crowd is this party hearty invite. It’s designed for the adults who love a good party.
This next design is made for the birthday dinner crowd. Have a small gathering and let your friends and family “eat their heart out”.
Finally, this last invite for the older crowd is all about showing some love to the birthday girl or boy.
The last category is for every age group. Each design below will work for kids and adults.
9. Queen of Our Hearts
The first design is for the Queen of your Heart. This fun card-shaped invite is perfect for the casino-themed birthday or a game party.
This next invite is really for everyone as it’s simply telling your friends and family that you’d love for them to join you.
When I first thought of this theme, I was thinking more for the little ones since I used the candy hearts and fun colors. But, if you are an adult that loves the candy hearts then go for it!
Finally, those candy hearts cannot be missed and I love a chance to make a fun-shaped invite. Whether you love or hate the hearts, they are a symbol of Valentine’s Day. This last invite shows them off in all their glory.
