So you love buffalo check but you’re not quite sure how to use it? Or maybe how to make it? I hear you. I love it too.
The black and white is not only perfect for fall but it’s great for Halloween and it’s perfect for Thanksgiving. It creates a classic timeless look that you can use over and over again.
I’m in fall creating mode now so today I’m sharing a few fun buffalo check fall items for home. Each of these can be customized as well. Plus, I’ve got three colors that look fantastic with buffalo check. Keep reading to find out what they are.

What Colors Look Good with Buffalo Check?
Even though it’s black and white and could pretty much go with any color, there’s three colors that look really good with buffalo check. I’m using those colors for my designs below. I’m curious to know what you think. Let me know in the comments!
1. Orange is Perfect for Fall
I’ll be honest, orange is not my favorite color. You don’t go to Texas A&M and love orange. However, for fall and with buffalo check, it can look lovely. Keep reading to find out how I use it for fall decor.
First up for the buffalo check fall decor are these fun welcome mats. I love changing out the front door mat for holidays and seasons. It’s such an easy way to add holiday to the home.
These next two designs were created with the kid’s room in mind, but they’d work anywhere. First is this fun light cover.
The other great kid’s room decor idea is this fun night light. It’s great because it’s easy to use and then store when it’s not in season.
This wall art clock is another perfect one for the kitchen. It’s pumpkin spice latte time!
2. Teal Adds a Little “Pop”
Next up, I absolutely love teal. I really love it with the orange. It just gives a little extra something. I don’t know what it is about teal, but I just can’t get enough of it.
After the welcome mat, my next favorite way to decorate for fall is with throw pillows.
Another room of the house that I love to decorate for the seasons is the kitchen. These kitchen towels are a super easy way to do that.
I don’t what it is about fall but I always feel like a newly designed mug is definitely needed. It’s probably all the hoopla that surrounds the pumpkin spice latte
Magnets like the ones below make great little gifts for Halloween or even Thanksgiving.
Finally, complete your kitchen with these fun coasters.
Last up for the teal, don’t forget the pets this season. Decorate for fall with this cute pet bowl.
3. Red for All Year
Finally, the last color I love to use with buffalo check has nothing to do with fall. Red is great for all year around and of course, great at Christmas. Regardless, I’m a fan of it for a kitchen mat. Check it below.
