A new baby is a super fun “journey” and one of my favorites to photograph. In addition, I also love a good photo prop. The one below was perfect for this family welcoming their first boy into the family. I love Brynlee’s face, it’s too cute. She looks so excited about a baby brother.
The idea of announcing your pregnancy or just announcing the gender during a photoshoot is one of my favorite ideas. Plus, it doesn’t have to be complicated.
That’s why I’m sharing 3 super easy photo props for pregnancy announcements. Keep it simple and fun! Each of my designs are also dedicated to fall.
Well see, fall is a great time for photoshoots, probably my favorite. While I am a summer addict, summer photoshoots are tough. It’s hot and I sweat a LOT. I did a photoshoot in July recently and one of the little girls told me at the end “thank you for taking my picture, it was very hot.” She was super cute and sweet, but not wrong. That’s why I’ve devoted this post to fall pregnancy announcements. Fall also means pumpkin patch photos and that’s just great.
For most of the northern hemisphere, fall is on the way. It’s not really yet in Texas, but that’s okay, I love delaying the winter as long as I can. However, since it is nearing fall, that means there are lots of photographers who are gearing up for fall sessions. And lots of families looking to plan for those sessions. That’s why, with this post, I’ve got something for everyone. Whether you want to make your own props with our designs, find pre-made props, or create brand new designs.

Let’s get to the photo props now. When it comes to this, it’s really best to keep it simple. There’s a lot going on when you’re getting photos made. You’ve done your hair, make-up, you’re probably a little sweaty, and it’s super weird to start. That’s why, I recommend just 3 easy photo props for your pregnancy announcements.
First up, make sure you dress yourself first when preparing for a photo shoot. It might be that you want something fancier than just a maternity shirt for the photos, but hear me out. There’s lots of tips on what to wear for a fall photo shoot out there, I’m here to tell you to consider a cute, personalized shirt too. Find a photographer that will let you do a wardrobe change. đŸ™‚
I’ve designed a few shirts for the mom-to-be or new mom. If you’re expecting and looking for a fun way to announce your pregnancy then these are for you. My personal favorite is the note about not eating pumpkin seeds. However, I do like roasted pumpkin seeds so that would be a tough one for me.
I love the idea of simply announcing your pregnancy by wearing a fun shirt. It’s a great and easy way to let the world know. Or you can give them as a gift to the grandparents-to-be.
Regardless of what you choose to wear for your photos, you can find fun fall themed shirts to wear all season long. No need to get them photographed, I won’t tell anyone.

Sibling shirts are too cute and I love how they look in photos. When my niece was born, my nephew definitely had to have a big brother shirt. Plus, one of my favorite photos from when I was born is of me with my sisters and they are wearing “big sister” shirts. You can personalize the shirts so they can be used once baby is born too. It’s a win-win.
So maybe you don’t want to wear a maternity shirt or have the kiddos wear custom shirts. That can get pricey and maybe you already have your outfits all picked out. For those reasons, I’m including these fun signs just for you.
Finally, this last section gives you a super easy way to announce your pregnancy. Or, you can add a little “cuteness” to your fall photos. These signs below are perfect for a fall photo shoot. They’re also easy to make with the SVG files or cheap to purchase.
