A new trend that seems to be popping up more and more in weddings is the bold wedding invites. This can be done with bold colors, graphics, or even wording. I’m loving this new trend so much that I’m sharing 15 new designs all with the bold wedding in mind.

Bold Colors

The first thing I think of when I think of bold weddings is dark colors. I love seeing maroon, black, purple, and navy being used at weddings. I had dark purple at my spring wedding and loved it. It’s not just for winter anymore!

Watercolor

This watercolor invite was designed with the beach wedding in mind. I actually love the thought of it with a nautical event of any kind, it just works.

Another bold look I’m seeing a lot of is bold graphics. Whether it’s shapes or flowers, the bigger the better it seems.

Bold Text

Finally, the last way you can be bold is with your text. You can either use bold font and large names and dates or be bold with your wording and layout.

Font

First, use a fun font for the names of the couple to be and make that the majority of the page. Then, the remainder of the wording is smaller toward the bottom of the invite.
