A super easy way to have plenty to do at a baby shower is to plan baby shower games. They seem to be all the rage these days and they can be as cheesy or as non-cheesy as you desire.
Another great thing about games is they can be helpful for the new mom and dad, if you pick the right ones.

1. Diaper Raffle Cards
How to Play: Send out the diaper raffle cards with the invites asking guests to bring a pack of diapers with the card to the shower. Put all the cards together and draw one name for a prize.

2. Bring a Book
How to Play: Request that guest bring a book for the baby with a note inside instead of a card. Allow them to bring new books or pre-loved ones. (side note: you can find a free bring a book card at the bottom of this post!)

3. Baby BINGO
How to Play: Have the guests fill in all the blanks before the mom-to-be opens the presents. They should try to guess what gifts the mom will receive. As she then opens them, guests will mark off the ones they got right. First one to fill the card or get a straight line, wins.

4. Wishes for Baby
How to Play: Have guests at the shower write their wishes to the new baby. This makes a great keepsake for the parents and for the baby.

5. Finish the Rhyme
How to Play: See how many nursery rhymes guests can finish.

6. Baby’s First Alphabet Book
How to Play: Pass out at least one card per guest (depending on how many guests are at the shower). Then have them come up with a word that starts with the letter they were given. Provide the guests with crayons or colored pencils to draw the word they’ve chosen. Keep it simple! Then bind the book together for baby’s first alphabet book.

7. Measure the Tummy
How to Play: Next on the list of baby shower games requires a bit of yard or string. Have guests cut a length of string they think will fit around mom’s tummy. Then wrap it around the card provided. Whoever is closest wins a prize.

8. The Price is Right
How to Play: See how well you know the price of popular baby products by making your own predictions.

9. Guess the Baby Item
How to Play: Have the mom-to-be write down baby items that begin with each letter of the alphabet. Then, have guests at the shower see how many items they can guess that match the mom’s answers.

10. Advice for Mom
How to Play: Similar to the wishes to baby cards, this game is just for the mom and dad to be. Have guests leave their advice and love on parenting, child-birth, or anything else. They make a great keepsake for the mom and dad.

11. Gender Voting Ballot Cards
How to Play: Cast your vote for boy or girl at the baby shower. Perfect for a gender reveal party too.

12. Baby Predictions
How to Play: Guests at the shower take their best guess as to birthday, weight, and length of the new baby. This one below doubles as an advice card as well and makes a great addition to the baby book.

13. Who Knows the Mommy-to-be Best
How to Play: First, have the mommy-to-be answer the questions on the card. Guests will then try to guess what she said for each question.

How to Play: Next up for baby shower games is one perfect for a couples shower. Before the shower, have the mom and dad to be answer who will be the first to do each item on the list. Then, during the baby shower, guests will try to match their answers.

16. Words for the Wee Hours
How to Play: Purchase diapers for this game. Then set up the game as a sign on table or place a diaper and game card in each person’s seat. Have guests write a note on the diaper to the parents-to-be. Mom and dad will read them when up all night with the new bub.
