Believe it or not July 4th is just around then corner. Wait, what?! Yes, I know, but it’s true. I personally love the fourth. It’s a fun time for any and all outdoor activities.
Today I’m sharing that fun with July 4th games you can download instantly in The Printables Club.
July 4th Games
The first game is one I see all over the place but it’s such a perfect game for kids that I’ve included one here. Let kids run free and find all the items on the scavenger hunt. Give them a cell phone to take photos of the items or just have them check off the list.
This next game is a simple funny one to keep fun this July 4th. Play the mad libs game to write your own history.
A perfect July 4th game for the adults are these trivia cards. Test your knowledge of the holiday with this game. Or use it as a learning game for your kids.
Next up is a classic game that works for July 4th as well. For mine, I use the 50 states and it includes 6 different versions. It’s designed for car road trips. Use the license plates of the cars you pass to mark off states. Whoever gets a straight row first, wins.
If you don’t want to use it for a car trip, you can also use it at a party by finding guests who have been to those states. Have the guest initial the state they’ve been to and initial the ones you’ve been to as well.
Another classic game that works for July 4th games is tic tack toe. I know my nephew loves to play this game at restaurants and on car trips so it’s sure to be a hit with the little ones.
This next game can be downloaded for free on the Journey Junkies page. Coloring pages are always a hit with the kids (and some adults too!).
Finally, these last July 4th games are another one to help you teach your kids about the holiday. Or test your own knowledge of the history.
