Think fun is only for the bachelorette party? Think again. Bridal showers don’t have to be stuffy. You don’t have to sit uncomfortably in a random living room. You can do whatever you want. Really, it’s allowed.
Today I’m focusing on the Bridal Shower. I love, love, love, this idea for a Luau shower. What could be better than sipping tropical drinks by the pool with your best friends? I found several different sayings when I was designing these items that made the process that much more fun.
So without further ado: Aloha, Baby! Let’s Party Like a Pineapple with the items below. And, Beach, please, you do not want to miss out!

How to Find Printables
Before we get to how many things you can make with printables, how to do you find printables for events? That’s where you join the Journey Junkies club. You’ll get access to 10 free printables with tips on how to use them each week.
6 Items for Luau Themed Bridal Shower
1. Themed Invite
When I’m designing stuff, I always start with the invite, that’s where the party starts, right? It sets the entire tone of the party, everything else is just gravy as they would say.
2. Matching Party Sign
After the invite, the next thing I always have to have when I throw any kind of party is a welcome sign. I have been to so many bridal showers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, etc, where I pull up and don’t know where the hell I am. I’m a bit “directionally challenged” as they say so it’s best to spell it out for me.
Most of the time your guests won’t know each other and may not know the host, so it’s super awkward to knock on a door you’re not sure is the right place. Put a sign up, and there’s no confusion.
I would literally rather leave without attending the shin-dig than knock on the wrong door. That’s how girls wind up dead, and really, that will put a damper on your day. 🙂 So, PLEASE, if you do nothing else, put a sign out front, I for one, will be grateful.
So you’re probably going to eat at the party, right? Then keep that theme going. It’s awesome when the plates, napkins, forks, cups, and everything else all matches. Remember when Phoebe was in charge of cups and ice? She totally rocked it. You can too.
P.S. For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, shame on you, but you can still watch it here.
I’m going to be completely honest with you here, I have not always been a supporter of the “I’m single” stickers or condom veils. BUT, I have to admit they make it fun. There, I said it, now keep it to yourself.
You may look ridiculous, and I definitely laugh my ass off at others when I’m on the outside, but hell, who cares. You rock those stickers, you class up that condom veil, you embrace the “I’m single” buttons. I give you my full support, you’re welcome.
This next one is truly for the Luau themed party. What do you need when you’re by the pool/ocean/lake/pond… a bag! Where else will you keep your condom veil when you’re swimming?
Get this awesome tropical bag and you can even add your girl’s names to it and give it as a gift or the bride’s name and make her feel super special. How fun is that?!
Also, I love this floral print I got from Font Bundles, if you’re a DIYer, go get this watercolor design now, you won’t regret it.
6. A Way to Say “Thanks”
Finally, say thank you, and if you really want to impress me, say thank you in the theme. Whether its favor tags, thank you cards, gifts, or what have you, keep that theme going all the way to the “thank you” and it will remind every one of that kick-ass luau.
