An anniversary party is a great way to celebrate your love. Celebrate your parents’ love that’s lasted 20, 30, 40, or 50 years. It doesn’t have to be a huge party, but it can be a lovely way to honor the years spent together. Today I’m sharing Anniversary party ideas with a chalkboard theme.
Before we get to that, be sure to check out my last post about funny anniversary cards. There’s 10 free cards to download however you see fit.
I had a request a few years ago to do a chalkboard anniversary invite from one of my clients. Her parents were celebrating 25 years and were both teachers, so she wanted to incorporate the chalkboard design as a way to bring in the teacher element. This was my inspiration for these latest designs below.
Anniversary Party Ideas
This is the invite I mentioned above that inspired all the chalkboard designs to come.
I love a good sign, and these sayings are just too cute: “10 years down, and forever to go” and “Just Married, 10 years ago”. Download them for free on the Journey Junkies page. Sign up now if you’re not a member. I’ve included years 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50.
I’m also giving away photo props as well. Make these into signs, cards, decorations, or anything else. I’ve made a few into buttons and stickers you can purchase on Zazzle.
I always like to include plates, cups, and napkins, so here’s some favorites below.
Favorite Memory Game
This a new game I came up with where you have the guests fill in memories of their time with the honored couple. You can send them out with the invites and have guests send them back to you, or have them fill them out at the party. It makes a great keepsake for the couple. Purchase the instant download on Etsy for just $5 or customize it and purchase prints on Zazzle.
Say Thank You
Finally, always end it with a thank you. I love tags for favors and you can buy these on Zazzle as well, or use our downloads to make your own.
Stay tuned for my next post, I’m sharing my favorite printable gifts for anniversaries. There will, of course, be more freebies.
